Wandr W36 compression bag + HiPump air pump set: up to 60% space saving
The Wandr W36 Compression Bag + HiPump Air Pump Set consists of a 48 x 30 x 15 cm compression bag and a rechargeable electric air pump. The bag holds 15 to 20 items of clothing and saves you up to 60% space. The pump draws the air out through the valve. Available in Black/Orange.
What is in the Wandr W36 + HiPump set?
You get 1x the Wandr W36 compression bag and 1x the Wandr HiPump air pump. The bag has an airtight zip and a valve. The outer layer is made of tear-resistant ripstop fabric and keeps out water and odours. The pump weighs 100 grams and has a 1600 mAh battery that you charge via USB-C.
How does the HiPump air pump work?
Fill the bag with clothes and close the airtight zip. Then place the HiPump on the valve. The pump moves 180 litres of air per minute at 4 kPa, so the bag is vacuum-sealed within seconds. On one battery charge you can compress about 60 times, enough for the outward and return journey without a charger.
Which trips is this set handy for?
The set helps when you travel with hand luggage only. Backpackers use it to keep their rucksack organised, and on a ski trip it makes room for jumpers and jackets. The pump also inflates an air mattress or travel pillow and has a built-in light.
Material and care
The compression bag is made of tear-resistant ripstop fabric that is recyclable. The HiPump is made of impact-resistant ABS plastic. Clean the bag with a damp cloth and a mild soapy solution if needed, and let it dry thoroughly before you store it. Wipe the pump with a dry cloth and keep the USB-C port dry.
Frequently asked questions
Does the W36 compression bag also work without the pump? Yes, you can also press the air out with a vacuum cleaner or by hand. With the HiPump it is quicker.
How much does the set weigh? The bag weighs 150 grams and the pump 100 grams. Together that is 250 grams.
