The Van Buren Lambskin Ladies Gloves in Grey are winter gloves for women, made of lambskin shearling. That is the skin of a lamb with the wool still on it. This gives you warm, soft gloves in a calm grey colour with a plain finish. Available in sizes S, M and L.
Grey is a neutral colour with a calm look. That is why the gloves go well with a black, navy or grey winter coat. With a camel coat or a colourful scarf, grey also forms a quiet base. Because the gloves are plain, they do not distract from the rest of your outfit.
Choose size S if you have narrow hands, M for an average women's size and L if your hands are wider or longer. A good glove closes around your fingers without pinching. If it is too tight, there is little air left and your hands get cold faster. Not sure? Then send us a message.
Wool fibres are naturally crimped. Air stays trapped between the fibres, and that air forms an insulating layer. As a result, your hands cool down less quickly in the wind or in frost. At the same time the wool breathes, so your hands are less likely to sweat.
These gloves are made of lambskin shearling. Clean small stains carefully with a slightly damp cloth and do not rub hard. Let wet gloves dry at room temperature, far from a stove or radiator. Outside the season, store them in a dry, airy place and not in a plastic bag.
Can you wash the Van Buren shearling gloves in the washing machine? No, we advise against it. Water and detergent make shearling stiff, so it is better to clean them with a damp cloth.
Is grey a good colour for everyday use? Yes. Grey shows small marks less quickly than a light colour and goes with almost any coat.
