The Seth by The Chesterfield Brand is a laptop bag made of full-grain wax pull-up leather, measuring 30 x 40 x 10 cm. It has two main compartments, each with a sturdy zip, a reinforced 16-inch laptop compartment and a trolley strap. The bag weighs 1.84 kg. Available in Cognac and Brown.
The bag has two sections, and you close each one with its own zip. Inside is a reinforced laptop compartment of 39 x 29 cm for laptops up to and including 16 inches. The Seth also has a tablet compartment and an organiser for small items. There is another zip pocket on the front and one on the back.
You carry the Seth by the handles or over your shoulder. The shoulder strap is detachable, so you can leave it off when you don't need it. When you travel, slide the trolley strap over the telescopic handle of your suitcase. This keeps the bag in place on top of your suitcase on the way.
The Chesterfield Brand makes the Seth from full-grain leather with a wax pull-up finish. The wax treatment makes the leather feel soft and supple. You can rub out small marks from use with your fingers. Clean the bag with a dry, soft cloth and treat the leather with leather wax now and then. If the bag gets wet, let it dry at room temperature and not on a radiator.
What is the difference between the Seth and the Calvi? Both laptop bags from The Chesterfield Brand are 30 cm high and 40 cm wide, with a 16-inch laptop compartment. The Seth is 10 cm deep and has two main compartments with a zip. The Calvi is 7 cm deep and has one main compartment.
Will a 15.6-inch laptop fit in the Seth? Yes. The laptop compartment measures 39 x 29 cm and is made for laptops up to and including 16 inches. If in doubt, measure the outside dimensions of your laptop in centimetres.
