The Calvi by The Chesterfield Brand is a slim laptop bag made of wax pull-up leather, measuring 30 x 40 x 7 cm and offering a capacity of 8.4 litres. It has a reinforced laptop compartment for a 16-inch laptop, a reinforced tablet and phone compartment, and a trolley sleeve on the back. Available in cognac, black and brown.
The main compartment closes with a zip. Inside, you will find a reinforced laptop compartment measuring 39 x 29 cm for a laptop up to 16 inches, plus a reinforced compartment for your tablet and phone. There is also an extra zipped pocket and an organiser for pens and cards. There is another zipped pocket on both the front and the back.
Yes. The back has a trolley sleeve. Slide it over the telescopic handle of your suitcase, so the bag stays securely on the suitcase while travelling and your hands remain free.
You can carry the bag by the handles or with the shoulder strap. The strap is adjustable and detachable. As the bag is only 7 cm deep and weighs 1.16 kg when empty, it is comfortable to carry and fits easily in a cupboard or under a desk.
Wax pull-up leather is treated with oils and wax. It feels soft and supple. You can rub away light scratches and scuff marks with your fingers, as this redistributes the wax. Wipe the bag with a dry cloth and apply leather wax from time to time. Let a wet bag dry at room temperature, not on a radiator.
