The Samsonite Ta Revolution luggage strap is a polyester strap with a built-in TSA combination lock. You fasten it around your suitcase for extra strength, security and recognition. The TSA lock is handy when you travel to or from the United States. Available in Midnight Blue, Red, Yellow, Color wave and Black.
You put the strap around your closed suitcase and close it with the combination lock. This keeps the suitcase extra firmly shut, even when it is full. A coloured strap also makes your suitcase easy to recognise on the baggage belt. That way you see faster which suitcase is yours.
The lock opens with a number code, so you do not need a key. TSA stands for the American security agency Transportation Security Administration. This agency can open a TSA lock with its own key when your luggage is checked. That way nobody has to break open the strap or the lock.
If you want to spot your suitcase quickly on the baggage belt, choose a bright colour like Red, Yellow or Color wave. Midnight Blue and Black are calmer and stand out less. They go well with a dark suitcase. If you have several suitcases, you can tell them apart with different colours.
The strap is made of polyester. Clean it with a damp cloth and a mild soapy solution. Then let it dry at room temperature. Keep the lock dry and only wipe it with a dry cloth.
Why is a TSA lock useful when travelling to the United States? During checks in the United States, security staff may open your luggage. With a TSA lock they do this with a special key, without damaging the strap or lock.
