Samsonite Re-Lite Spinner 55x35x25 soft carry-on suitcase: expandable with a 15.6 inch laptop compartment

The Samsonite Re-Lite Spinner 55x35x25 Expandable is a soft carry-on suitcase made of recycled rPET, measuring H 55 x W 35 x D 22 cm and expandable to a depth of 25 cm. It holds 36/41 litres and has a 15.6 inch laptop compartment and a TSA combination lock. Available in Midnight Blue, Climbing Ivy and Ozone Black.

Is the Re-Lite Spinner 55x35x25 suitable as hand luggage?

At H 55 x W 35 x D 22 cm, it fits within the hand luggage sizes of most airlines. Empty, it weighs 2.1 kg, so you have plenty of weight left for your things. Expanded, it is 25 cm deep and may then be too big for the cabin. Check your airline's current rules before you fly.

What fits in the suitcase?

With 36 litres, you can pack for a weekend or a few days midweek. The expansion zip gives you 41 litres. Inside, crossed packing straps keep your clothes in place. Small items go in the zipped pockets.

Where do you keep your laptop?

On the front is a pocket with a laptop compartment for a laptop up to 15.6 inch. That way you can take it out at security without opening the suitcase.

Material and care

The suitcase is made of rPET, a recycled polyester, and is produced in Europe. The material is strong yet soft. Clean the outside with a damp cloth and mild soapy water. Then leave it open to dry at room temperature.

Frequently asked questions

How does the TSA combination lock work? You lock the zips with a code you set yourself. If you travel to the United States, customs can open the lock with a special key without damaging it.

How does the suitcase roll? It stands on 4 double wheels that turn in every direction, so you can even push it sideways down a narrow aisle. You pull it by the extendable trolley handle and lift it by the top or side handle.
