The Samsonite Neopod Hand Luggage EXP Easy Access Pocket is a hard-shell cabin suitcase made of polycarbonate, measuring H 55 x W 40 x D 23 cm with a capacity of 41 litres, expandable to 48 litres. On the front there is an easy-to-reach pocket for a laptop of up to 15.6 inch and a tablet. Available in Sage Khaki, Black and Midnight Blue.
Without the expansion, the suitcase measures 55 x 40 x 23 cm, a common size for hand luggage. Expanded, it becomes 27 cm deep, and then many airlines no longer accept it in the cabin. Check the current rules of your airline before you fly.
The pocket opens on the front of the suitcase. It holds a laptop of up to 15.6 inch plus a tablet. An intermediate compartment with a zip keeps small items separate. This lets you take out your laptop at security without fully opening the suitcase.
Inside, crossed packing straps keep your clothes in place, and there is a small zip pocket for small items. The suitcase closes with a zip and a TSA combination lock. With the expansion zip you increase the capacity from 41 to 48 litres.
The shell is made of polycarbonate, a light and strong plastic. Clean the suitcase with a damp cloth and a mild soapy solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they scratch the shell. After cleaning, let the front pocket dry open.
How does the Neopod EXP roll? It runs on four double wheels and has an extendable trolley handle. With the handle on top you easily lift it into the overhead bin.
How much does the suitcase weigh? The suitcase weighs 3.1 kg. Keep this in mind if your airline has a weight limit for hand luggage.
