Samsonite Glazed Carry-On Spinner 55x40x23/26 cm

Samsonite Glazed cabin spinner: 55 x 40 x 23 cm, expandable from 44 to 49 litres

The Samsonite Glazed Spinner is a soft-sided cabin suitcase made from recycled plastic bottles and recycled nylon. It measures H 55 x W 40 x D 23 cm and weighs 2,6 kg. When expanded, it is 26 cm deep, with 49 litres instead of 44 litres. It has four spinner wheels and a TSA combination lock. Available in Sand Stone, Sage Green, Black, Electric Blue and Lime Punch.

Is the Samsonite Glazed suitable as cabin baggage?

Yes, at 55 x 40 x 23 cm, the Glazed is designed as a cabin suitcase. When you use the expansion, it becomes 26 cm deep. Some airlines may then consider it too large for the cabin. Therefore, check your airline's current rules and what your ticket allows before your flight.

What fits in the Glazed Spinner?

Store clothes and a toiletry bag for a trip of a few days in the zipped main compartment. There is also a laptop compartment for a 15,6-inch laptop. If you buy something while travelling, open the expansion zip to create 5 extra litres of space.

How do you roll and lift the Glazed?

The suitcase rolls on four spinner wheels that turn in every direction. This lets you push it upright beside you, even in a busy terminal or at the station. Use the handles on the top and side to lift it into the luggage compartment above your seat.

Material and care

The Glazed is made from recycled plastic bottles (rPET) and 100% recycled industrial nylon waste. Remove stains immediately with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh cleaning products, as they can damage the material. Then let the suitcase air-dry completely and store it in a dry place.

Frequently asked questions

How do you lock the Glazed? The main compartment closes with a zip, which you secure with the recessed TSA combination lock. If you are travelling to the United States, customs can open this lock without damaging it.

Which colours are available? Choose from Sand Stone, Sage Green, Black, Electric Blue and Lime Punch. Samsonite offers a 5-year warranty on every colour.
