The Samsonite Luggage Strap is a luggage strap made of polyester. The strap is 5 cm wide and 185 cm long. You put it around your suitcase so that it does not spring open during the journey. It also helps you recognise your suitcase faster on the baggage carousel. Available in Midnight Blue and Black.
A luggage strap keeps your suitcase closed even more securely. If a zip or lock comes open on the way, the strap still holds the contents together. That is handy with a full suitcase that is under a lot of tension. This way you reduce the risk of damage to your suitcase and your belongings during the journey.
Many suitcases on the baggage carousel look alike. A strap around your suitcase makes it just a bit different from the rest. So you see sooner which suitcase is yours, and nobody takes it by mistake. Choose a colour that stands out against your suitcase, such as Midnight Blue on a black suitcase.
The strap is 185 cm long. To be sure, measure the circumference of your suitcase where the strap will go. To do this, add the height and the depth together and multiply by two. If the result is less than 185 cm, the strap goes around your suitcase lengthwise.
The luggage strap is made of polyester and is 5 cm wide. Polyester is strong and dries quickly. If the strap gets dirty, clean it with a damp cloth and a mild soapy solution. Then let it dry well before you store it or put it back around your suitcase.
Can you also use the strap around a soft suitcase? Yes, the strap works around hard and soft suitcases, as long as the circumference stays within 185 cm. Pull it tight, but not so tight that the zip comes under strain.
