The Plevier Adler is a laptop bag made of vegetable-tanned vintage full grain cowhide (Hunter leather), measuring H 30 x W 42 cm with a volume of 12 litres. It has a lined laptop compartment for 17.3 inch, a roomy zipped main compartment in A4 size and a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. Available in Brown.
Yes, the laptop compartment is padded and made for 17.3 inch laptops. The compartment measures W 41 x H 28 x D 3.5 cm. So measure your laptop quickly: if it is smaller than this, it sits well protected in the compartment.
The zipped main compartment is A4 size, so folders and papers go in flat. There is also a document compartment. Your mouse, adapter and cables go in two elastic pockets, so they do not slide around loose in the bag. Inside, the bag has a black lining.
For short distances you carry the bag by the handles. For longer trips you use the leather shoulder strap. It is detachable and adjustable and has a shoulder pad, so the weight rests more comfortably on your shoulder.
Plevier makes the Adler by hand from Hunter leather: vegetable-tanned vintage full grain cowhide. Wipe the leather with a dry, soft cloth. Use leather care now and then to keep the leather supple and stop it drying out. If the bag gets wet, let it dry at room temperature and not on a radiator.
