The Kapten & Son Essential Moon Bag is a crescent-shaped crossbody bag measuring 15,5 x 30,5 x 8 cm, with a capacity of 3,5 litres. It has a main compartment with a zip, two open inner pockets and an anti-theft pocket on the back. The water-repellent material is made from 90% recycled PET. Available in Muted Sage, Walnut, Muted Rose, All Black, Sandstone, Burgundy and Chocolate Brown.
The bag is made for your everyday essentials: your phone, wallet and keys. The main compartment contains two open inner pockets. This keeps small items such as lip balm or earbuds from getting lost at the bottom of the bag. With 3,5 litres, you have more space than in a small shoulder bag, while the bag remains compact.
You can wear the Moon Bag over your shoulder or across your body. The shoulder strap is adjustable up to a maximum of 60 cm. Thanks to its curved shape, the bag sits comfortably against your body. At just 0,2 kg, you will barely notice it, even after a full day in the city.
There is an extra pocket on the back that rests against your body when you wear the bag. You can keep your cards or phone in it, out of sight and reach of others. This is useful on a busy shopping street, at a festival or while travelling.
The material is made from 90% recycled PET, combined with polyester and a small amount of PU. It is water-repellent and vegan. The lining is grey. Remove dirt with a damp cloth. Then let the bag dry at room temperature.
Is the Essential Moon Bag waterproof? No. The material is water-repellent: it keeps water out, but the bag is not waterproof.
