The Kapten & Son Åre Daypack Lite is a light daypack made of recycled PET and polyester. It is 42 cm high, 28.5 cm wide and 13.5 cm deep, holds 13 litres and weighs 0.7 kg. It has a laptop compartment for a 14 or 15 inch MacBook. Available in All Black, Muted Rose and Taupe.
The front panel folds all the way down, so you can see the whole main compartment at once. Inside you will find the laptop compartment, two mesh pockets and a zip pocket for keys and a charger. On the outside there is an anti-theft pocket that lies against your back, and a small fleece pocket for your sunglasses or phone. On the sides there are two mesh pockets for a water bottle.
The padded laptop compartment measures 38 x 25 cm. It fits a 14 or 15 inch MacBook. If you have a laptop from another brand, check whether it fits within 38 x 25 cm. The main compartment closes with a zip, so your laptop is safely stored.
The Åre Daypack Lite is made of 90% recycled PET and 10% polyester. The material is water-repellent and the backpack is vegan. Clean it with a damp cloth and a mild soapy solution. Then let the backpack air dry, not on the radiator.
Is the Åre Daypack Lite comfortable on the bike? Yes, the padded back panel is breathable and the shoulder straps are adjustable. With the chest strap, the backpack stays in place while you cycle.
Does the Åre Daypack Lite come with a rain cover? Yes, the rain cover sits in a Velcro pocket on the bottom. That way you always have it with you when it starts to rain.
