The Daniel Ray Griffith L is a rolltop backpack made of coated 14 oz canvas, measuring H 60 x W 40 x D 15 cm with a capacity of 36 litres. It has a rolltop with click buckle and zip, a padded laptop compartment for 15.6 inch and a water-repellent exterior. Available in Black, Beige, Navy and Khaki.
Yes, the main compartment has a padded laptop compartment for a laptop up to 15.6 inch. Inside there is also a zipped pocket for your charger and cables. That keeps your laptop and cables separate from your clothes or groceries. You close the main compartment with a zip and the rolltop.
You roll up the top and secure it with the click buckle. Under the rolltop there is an extra zip on the main compartment. If you carry a lot, simply roll the top down less far. Fully unrolled, the backpack is 60 cm high.
On the front and the back there is a zipped pocket for your cards, phone and wallet. A drinks bottle or a folding umbrella fits in the side pockets. That way you don't have to unroll the main compartment for small items.
The Griffith is made of coated 14 oz canvas. The coating on the outside makes the canvas water-repellent. The sturdy canvas keeps its shape, even when the backpack is full. Wipe away dirt with a damp cloth and a mild soapy solution. Do not use abrasives, so the coating stays intact. Let the backpack dry at room temperature.
Is the Griffith L practical on the bike? Yes. The padded shoulder straps and the chest strap spread the weight over your shoulders and torso. The water-repellent exterior is handy when you cycle in the rain.
How much warranty do you get on the Griffith L? Daniel Ray gives a 1 year warranty. If you have a problem with the backpack during that period, please contact us.
