The Charm London Capetown Cabin Suitcase 55 cm is a hard-shell cabin suitcase made of ABS, measuring H 55 x W 35 x D 20 cm with a capacity of 35 litres. It has a ribbed design with gold-coloured details, four swivel wheels and a TSA combination lock. Available in Blue, Pink, Baby Blue, Beige and Taupe.
At H 55 x W 35 x D 20 cm, the suitcase meets the hand luggage requirements of many airlines. Each airline does set its own sizes and weights. So check on your airline's website what currently applies before you fly. The suitcase weighs 2.7 kg when empty.
The interior consists of two compartments. You close one half with a zip. In the other half, elastic packing straps keep your clothes in place. The 35 litres of capacity is enough for a city trip or a weekend away.
The suitcase stands on four swivel wheels that turn 360 degrees, so it rolls smoothly alongside you. You set the telescopic trolley handle to one of the three positions. That way the length suits your height. It is also easy to handle as an extra suitcase on the train or in the car.
The shell is made of ABS, a hard plastic. Clean the outside with a damp cloth and a little mild soapy water. Do not use abrasives, so the gold-coloured details are not damaged. After a trip, let the suitcase dry open before you store it.
What warranty do you get on the suitcase? The Charm London Capetown comes with a 1 year warranty.
How does the TSA combination lock work? You set your own code. Customs can open a TSA lock with a special key, without breaking the lock open.
