The Castelijn & Beerens Vita Card Holder RFID (67 0851) is a card holder of 9.9 x 6.2 x 1.3 cm that weighs 90 grams. It has an aluminium case with a pop-up mechanism for 7 cards and a leather slot for 1 extra card. The outside is soft Italian leather. RFID protection is built in. The colour is black.
Press the slider under the case and the 7 cards slide up in a staggered row. You see straight away which card you are taking. An automatic lock then holds the cards in place.
The case holds 7 cards, such as your debit card, credit card and driving licence. The leather slot is for an eighth card or a few receipts. At 9.9 x 6.2 cm, it is hardly bigger than a card itself.
The aluminium case shields the chip on your cards. That way, nobody can read your debit or credit card details wirelessly without you noticing.
The Vita series is made of soft Italian leather. That leather is tanned following the guidelines of the Leather Working Group, an international organisation that audits tanneries. The aluminium is anodised, which makes the surface hard and corrosion-resistant. Wipe the leather clean with a dry, soft cloth and treat it with leather care a few times a year.
What is the difference with the Vita Mini Wallet? The Vita Mini Wallet has a leather cover with a note compartment and 2 card slots, so it holds 9 cards and banknotes.
Is the Vita card holder for men or women? The design is neutral and is worn by both.
