The Castelijn & Beerens Vita Mini Wallet RFID with closure tab (67 0853) is a wallet of 10 x 6.9 x 1.4 cm that weighs 110 grams. It has an aluminium pop-up case for 7 cards, 2 leather card slots, a note compartment and a leather closure tab. The cover is soft Italian leather. The colour is black.
The tab keeps the leather cover closed. Your banknotes and receipts stay in place, even when the wallet sits loose in your bag. To open it, you pull the tab loose.
It holds 9 cards: 7 in the aluminium case and 2 in the card slots. There is also a compartment for folded banknotes. The slider under the case raises the cards in a staggered row, and an automatic lock fixes them again.
The aluminium case shields the chip on your cards against wireless reading. The protection always works.
The Vita series is made of soft Italian leather. That leather is tanned following the guidelines of the Leather Working Group, an international organisation that audits tanneries. The aluminium is anodised against wear and corrosion. Wipe the leather with a dry, soft cloth and let a wet wallet dry at room temperature.
What is the difference with the Vita Mini Wallet without a tab? Only the closure tab. Size and layout are the same, and the weight is 110 instead of 100 grams.
Is there also a smaller Vita model? Yes, the Vita Card Holder for 8 cards, without a cover or note compartment.
