The Castelijn & Beerens Vita Mini Wallet RFID (67 0852) is a compact wallet of 10 x 6.9 x 1.4 cm that weighs 100 grams. An aluminium pop-up case for 7 cards sits in a cover of soft Italian leather. The cover has 2 card slots and a note compartment. RFID protection is built in. The colour is black.
The wallet holds up to 9 cards: 7 in the aluminium case and 2 in the leather card slots. The note compartment takes folded banknotes or receipts. There is no coin pocket.
You press the slider under the case. The cards then slide out in a staggered row. An automatic lock holds them in place afterwards.
Yes. The aluminium case shields the RFID chip on your debit and credit cards. Nobody can read your details wirelessly without you noticing.
The Vita series is made of soft Italian leather. That leather is tanned following the guidelines of the Leather Working Group, an international organisation that audits tanneries. The anodised aluminium is hard-wearing and does not rust. Wipe the leather now and then with a dry cloth. Leather care a few times a year keeps it supple.
What is the difference with the Vita Mini Wallet with closure tab? It has the same size and layout, plus a leather tab that keeps the cover closed.
Does the wallet fit in an inside pocket? Yes. At 10 x 6.9 x 1.4 cm, it fits most inside pockets and trouser pockets.
