The Castelijn & Beerens Veneto Nubuck Weekender RFID is a weekend bag made of Italian nubuck leather, measuring 35 x 50 x 20 cm. It has an RFID zip compartment for your cards and passport, plus an adjustable leather shoulder strap. The nubuck is soft and water and dirt repellent. The colour is mocca.
The spacious main compartment is made for everything you need for a weekend away, such as clothes, a toiletry bag and an extra pair of shoes. The RFID zip compartment keeps your bank cards and passport protected from unwanted scanning. The bag weighs 1.7 kg when empty.
At 50 x 35 x 20 cm, the bag fits within 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Many airlines use these dimensions for hand luggage. Do check your airline's rules before your flight, as they differ depending on the ticket.
You can carry the bag by the two leather handles or over your shoulder. The leather shoulder strap is adjustable, so you can wear it at the right height. The handles are attached with metal buckles.
Nubuck is leather with a lightly brushed outer surface. This makes it feel soft and gives it a fine nap. Castelijn & Beerens uses Italian nubuck tanned according to the guidelines of the Leather Working Group. The nubuck of this bag is water and dirt repellent.
Brush the bag occasionally with a soft nubuck brush to keep the nap looking good. Do not use leather grease or cream, as this can stain nubuck. A nubuck spray provides extra protection. Let a wet bag dry at room temperature.
Does the weekender have a laptop compartment? No, this weekender does not have a separate laptop compartment. For your laptop, there are two nubuck laptop bags in the same Veneto range.
Can I place the bag on my suitcase? This weekender does not have a trolley sleeve. You can carry it by hand or over your shoulder.
