The Castelijn & Beerens Gaucho key case RFID is a key case made of bull leather, measuring H 7 x W 11.5 x D 1.5 cm and weighing 60 grams. It has two compartments with zip, two key rings and RFID protection for your cards. Available in Black, Mocha and Cognac.
The case has two key rings for your keys and two compartments that you close with a zip. This keeps your keys together, and they are less likely to scratch other things in your bag. You can also keep a card in one of the compartments. At 1.5 cm thick, the case also fits in a coat pocket.
The Gaucho collection has a special foil that prevents the RFID chip on your cards from being read without you noticing. This keeps your personal data better protected. Please note: the foil does not protect against hacking of contactless car keys. For a car key with keyless entry, you need a separate solution.
The Gaucho key case comes in three colours. Black is the most understated choice. Mocha is a dark brown shade, and Cognac is a warm, lighter brown. Pick the colour that matches your wallet or bag.
The key case is made of supple Italian bull leather, treated with a transparent dye. It is finished with the C&B logo in a small leather oval. Wipe the leather with a dry, soft cloth and treat it with a leather care product now and then. If the case gets wet, let it dry at room temperature and not on a radiator.
Does the Gaucho key case also protect your car key? No, the RFID foil protects the chip on your cards, but not your contactless car key.
