The Castelijn & Beerens Croco Mini Wallet RFID with closure strap (46 0853) is a wallet of 10 x 6.9 x 1.4 cm that weighs 110 grams. It has an aluminium pop-up case for 7 cards, 2 leather card slots and a note compartment. A leather strap keeps the cover closed. The leather is bull leather with a croc print. Available in black, red and mocha.
The strap runs over the side and keeps the leather cover closed. That way notes and receipts stay in place when the wallet is in a bag or coat pocket. To open it, you pull the strap loose.
It holds 9 cards: 7 in the aluminium case and 2 in the slots of the cover. You keep folded banknotes in the note compartment. With the button below the case, the cards slide up in a staggered row, and an automatic lock then holds them in place.
The aluminium case shields the chip of your bank and credit cards. As a result, nobody can secretly read your data wirelessly.
Castelijn & Beerens developed the leather of the Croco series together with a partner tannery in Tuscany. It is bull leather with an embossed croc print. The leather is vegetable-tanned according to the guidelines of the Leather Working Group. The aluminium is anodised, which makes it scratch-resistant and corrosion-resistant. Wipe the leather clean with a dry, soft cloth. If it gets wet, let it dry at room temperature.
How is it different from the Croco Mini Wallet without a strap? The size and layout are the same. This version has the closure strap and therefore weighs 110 instead of 100 grams.
Does it have a coin pocket? No. The wallet is made for cards and banknotes.
