The Castelijn & Beerens Croco Mini Wallet RFID (46 0852) is a compact wallet of 10 x 6.9 x 1.4 cm that weighs 100 grams. An aluminium pop-up case for 7 cards sits in a cover of bull leather with a croc print. The cover has 2 card slots and a note compartment. RFID protection is built in. Available in mocha, black and red.
It holds 9 cards in total: 7 in the aluminium case and 2 in the leather slots. Behind the case there is a compartment for folded banknotes or receipts. This Mini Wallet has no coin pocket.
With the button below the case, the cards slide up in a staggered row. That way you see straight away which card you need. An automatic lock then holds the cards in place again.
The aluminium case stops anyone from secretly reading the chip of your payment cards wirelessly. The protection always works, without you having to set anything up.
Castelijn & Beerens developed the leather of the Croco series together with a partner tannery in Tuscany. It is bull leather with an embossed croc print. The leather is vegetable-tanned according to the guidelines of the Leather Working Group. The aluminium case is anodised for a hard, corrosion-resistant layer. Wipe the leather now and then with a dry cloth. Leather care a few times a year keeps it supple.
How is it different from the Croco Mini Wallet with closure strap? That one has the same size and layout, plus a leather strap that keeps the cover closed. It weighs 10 grams more.
Does it fit in a trouser pocket? Yes. At 10 x 6.9 cm and 1.4 cm thick, it is smaller than a regular billfold.
