The Castelijn & Beerens Aluminium RFID Card Holder (11 0850) is a card holder made of anodised aluminium, measuring 9.9 x 6.2 x 0.9 cm and weighing 66 grams. It holds 7 cards. A pop-up mechanism slides them out in a staggered row. RFID protection is built in. The colour is black.
You press the slide button at the bottom of the case. The cards then come out in a staggered row, so you can see straight away which card you need. An automatic lock function then holds the cards firmly in place.
The case is made for up to 7 bank, credit or loyalty cards. At 0.9 cm thick and 66 grams, it slips easily into a trouser pocket, an inside pocket or a small bag. If you also carry notes or coins, a wallet with its own compartments is more practical.
Yes. The aluminium shields the RFID chip in your cards. This stops anyone from reading your card details wirelessly without you noticing.
The case is made of anodised aluminium. This treatment gives the metal a protective layer against wear and corrosion. The C&B logo is milled into the aluminium. Wipe the card holder with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the protective layer.
How is it different from the Rien RFID Card Holder? The Rien has a similar aluminium case in a leather cover, with an extra slot for an eighth card. This Aluminium Card Holder is the case without a cover, which makes it thinner and lighter.
