The Bear Design Marthe SU3578 is a compact shoulder bag made of suede leather, measuring H 17 x W 22 x D 4 cm. The bag closes at the top with a zip and has a zip pocket and a slip pocket inside. You carry it on an adjustable shoulder strap. Available in Bisquit, Cognac, Dark blue and Brown.
The bag is 22 cm wide and 17 cm tall, with a depth of 4 cm. It holds your phone, keys, a slim wallet and, for example, a lipstick. In the inner zip pocket you keep small things that should not roll around, such as earbuds or a bank card. The slip pocket is handy for a receipt or your phone.
The shoulder strap is adjustable. With a short strap you wear the bag on your shoulder, with a longer strap you wear it diagonally across your body. Because the bag is only 4 cm deep, it sits flat against you. That keeps your hands free while shopping or travelling.
The Marthe is made of suede leather, a type of leather with a soft, velvety surface. Suede is more sensitive to water and stains than smooth leather. Brush the bag now and then with a soft suede brush and treat it in advance with a waterproofing spray for suede. If the bag does get wet, dab it dry and let it dry at room temperature.
How does the Marthe close? The top closes with a zip. That way nothing falls out of the bag and nobody can simply reach into it.
Does a phone fit in the Marthe? Yes. With a width of 22 cm and a height of 17 cm, a regular smartphone fits in the bag. You can put it in the slip pocket so you can grab it quickly.
