The Bear Design Tijn FR2689 is a men's leather billfold measuring H 9 x W 12 x D 3 cm, with 12 card slots, a coin pocket with flap and RFID protection. The wallet closes with a press stud and weighs 200 grams. Available in Black.
Inside there are 12 card slots for your bank card, driving licence and loyalty cards, plus a transparent ID window. You keep your notes in the double note compartment. Coins go in the coin pocket, which you close with a flap and press stud. The Tijn also has a zip pocket and 2 hidden pockets for receipts or a spare key.
Contactless cards, such as your bank card or ID card, contain a chip that can be read from a distance. The RFID protection in the Tijn shields those chips. This way nobody can read your cards unnoticed while the wallet is in your jacket or bag. You do not need to set anything up.
At H 9 x W 12 x D 3 cm, the Tijn fits in the inside pocket of your blazer or jacket and in most trouser pockets. At 200 grams, it is light enough to carry all day. The fuller you make it, the thicker it gets, so only take the cards you actually use.
The Tijn is part of the Basic collection by Bear Design and is made of leather. Wipe the wallet clean now and then with a dry, soft cloth. A leather care product keeps the leather supple, so use it a few times a year. If the wallet gets wet, let it dry at room temperature.
What is a billfold? A billfold is a wallet that you fold in half. Your notes lie flat across the full width and your cards sit in slots on the inside.
How do you close the Tijn? The wallet closes with a press stud. That keeps it shut in your pocket, even when it is well filled.
