The Bear Design Elsie CP6814 is a leather card holder measuring H 10 x W 7 x D 2 cm. An aluminium case holds up to 6 cards and protects them against skimming. On the back there is a zipped pocket for coins. Available in Bordeaux, Champagne, Champagne Croco, Dust, Jade, Red, Unicorne, Blue, Butter Yellow, Cognac, Feather, Green, Black and Brown.
The aluminium case holds a maximum of 6 cards, such as your bank card, driving licence and travel card. The Elsie also has 2 extra storage pockets for credit cards or banknotes. On top of that, there is a separate compartment for notes. Coins go in the zipped pocket on the back.
With a scanner, someone can read a contactless bank card or credit card from a short distance. This is called skimming. The Elsie has anti-skim protection (RFID) and shields the cards in the aluminium case. When you want to pay, you simply take the card out.
At H 10 x W 7 x D 2 cm and 110 grams, the Elsie is a compact alternative to a large wallet. It fits in your trouser pocket, coat pocket or a small bag. You still keep your cards, notes and coins together. Many mini wallets have no zipped coin pocket, but the Elsie does.
The Elsie is made of leather. Wipe away dust and fingerprints with a dry, soft cloth. Treat the leather with a leather care product now and then to keep it supple. If the card holder gets wet, let it dry at room temperature and not on a radiator.
How does the Bear Design Elsie close? The Elsie closes with a press stud. The coin pocket on the back has its own zip, so no coins fall out.
