The Bear Design Kai is a leather backpack measuring H 40-53 x W 30 x D 15 cm. It has a roll-top with a slide-and-click lock, a separate laptop compartment for 15.6 inch and a trolley sleeve for your suitcase. Available in Black, Dark brown and Cognac.
Behind the main compartment is a separate laptop compartment with a wraparound zip for a laptop up to 15.6 inch. The main compartment has a 28 x 25 cm slip pocket for an iPad or other tablet. Inside you also find a phone pocket, a small slip pocket and a zip pocket. At the front, under the roll-top, a roomy zip pocket holds the things you want to grab quickly.
First you close the main compartment with a zip. Then you roll the top down and secure it with the slide-and-click lock. This way your belongings are closed off twice. Because you fold the top over, the backpack is 40 to 53 cm tall.
You carry the backpack on two adjustable shoulder straps. The back panel is padded, which is comfortable when you wear it for longer. On top there is a loop for carrying the backpack by hand. With the trolley sleeve on the back, you slide it over the handle of your suitcase.
The Kai is made of leather. Wipe the leather clean with a dry, soft cloth and treat it with leather care now and then to keep it supple. If the backpack gets wet, let it dry at room temperature and not on a radiator.
Where do you store a tablet in the Kai? The main compartment has a 28 x 25 cm slip pocket. It holds an iPad or other tablet, separate from your laptop.
Can you take the Kai along on your suitcase? Yes. With the trolley sleeve you slide the backpack over the handle of your suitcase, so you don't have to carry it on the way.
