The Beagles Ako flap shoulder bag is made for anyone looking for a neat bag that keeps up all day: for work, a trip into town or dinner out. The flap with snap closure gives the bag a classic look, while the zip underneath keeps the main compartment closed. Measuring 26 by 18 centimetres, it complements any outfit without standing out.
The 3.2-litre main compartment has room for your wallet, keys, sunglasses and a small planner. Inside, there is a separate phone pocket, so you do not have to search for your smartphone. You can open and close the flap with one hand, while the zip underneath prevents anything from falling out if the bag tips over.
The Ako series by Beagles is made of soft faux suede: a polyester imitation suede that looks warm and refined, but is much easier to care for than genuine suede. Wipe away stains with a damp cloth, and the bag is completely cruelty-free. The silver-coloured zips and accents complement all four colours: Black, Bordeaux, Taupe and Dark Brown.
The Ako has a handle for carrying by hand or on your arm, plus a detachable shoulder strap that adjusts to crossbody length. This lets you carry the bag while cycling, on the train or shopping, keeping your hands free. Remove the strap and you have a compact handbag for a night out.
