American Tourister Summerride Spinner 55/20 Expandable TSA- 35 cm

American Tourister Summerride Spinner 55/20: expandable soft cabin suitcase from 40 to 47 litres

The American Tourister Summerride Spinner 55/20 is a soft cabin suitcase made of rPET, a polyester made from recycled PET bottles. It measures 55 x 35 x 20 cm, weighs 1.9 kg and holds 40 litres, or 47 litres when expanded. It rolls on four wheels and has a TSA combination lock. Available in Black and Navy.

Is the Summerride Spinner 55/20 suitable as hand luggage?

The suitcase is designed as hand luggage and measures 55 x 35 x 20 cm. Permitted sizes differ per airline, so check your airline's current rules before your flight. Do not use the expansion zip when you take the suitcase into the cabin, as it then becomes deeper.

How much fits in the suitcase?

The suitcase holds 40 litres. The expansion zip adds 7 litres, up to 47 litres. That is enough for a short trip of a few days. Inside, packing straps keep your clothes in place so they do not shift during the journey.

What is the front pocket for?

There is a pocket on the front. Use it for things you want to grab quickly on the way, such as your passport or a book. That way you do not have to open the suitcase at the gate or on the train.

Material and care

The Summerride Spinner is made of rPET: polyester from recycled PET bottles. The material is soft and light, so the empty suitcase weighs just 1.9 kg. Clean the outside with a damp cloth and a mild soapy solution. Then let the suitcase dry open at room temperature before you store it.

Frequently asked questions
