The American Tourister Flytwist 78 cm is a hard-shell suitcase made of polypropylene measuring H 78 x W 50 x D 30/33 cm with 101 litres of capacity, expandable to 117 litres. What trips is the Flytwist 78 cm made for?

With 101 litres of capacity, this is a large suitcase for long holidays and faraway trips of two weeks or more. Need more space? Open the expansion zip. The capacity then grows to 117 litres and the depth from 30 to 33 cm. That gives you room for extra items on the way home.

How do you move the Flytwist 78 cm?

The suitcase rolls on four double wheels that turn in every direction. You push or pull it by the adjustable double trolley handle. To lift it, use the handle on the top or on the side. That is handy at the baggage carousel or in the car boot.

How is the interior organised?

Inside, crossed packing straps keep your clothes in place. A zipped divider separates the two halves. The mesh pocket holds small items such as chargers or socks. The TSA combination lock secures the zips during your trip.

Material and care

The shell is made of 100% polypropylene, a sturdy plastic that protects your luggage. The lining is made of recycled PET. Clean the outside with a damp cloth and, if needed, a mild soapy solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they scratch the shell.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the empty suitcase weigh? The Flytwist 78 cm weighs 4 kg empty. Keep this in mind for the weight limit of your checked baggage.

Can you personalise the suitcase? Yes, every suitcase comes with a sticker sheet. Use it to give the outside your own look and recognise it faster.
