The American Tourister Cabinpop Underseat Backpack is a carry-on backpack made of rPET, measuring 40 x 30 x 20 cm with a capacity of 27 litres. It has a 15.6-inch laptop compartment, a smart sleeve on the back and a bottle holder. Available in Totally Teal, True Black, Summer Sand, Saturn Sage and Pastel Pink.
American Tourister designed the Cabinpop as an underseat bag: a backpack meant to go under the seat in front of you. The backpack measures 40 x 30 x 20 cm and weighs 0.8 kg. Always check your airline's current hand luggage rules before you fly.
The main compartment holds 27 litres and has crossed packing straps that keep your clothes in place. The laptop compartment fits a laptop up to 15.6 inches. Inside there is an organiser with a mesh pocket for small items. On the outside you have a zip pocket and a front pocket, plus a bottle holder for your water bottle.
You carry the backpack on your back or pick it up by the handle on top. If you also travel with a suitcase, slide the smart sleeve on the back over the telescopic handle of your suitcase. That way the backpack rides along and your hands stay free.
The outer fabric and the lining of the Cabinpop are made of rPET. That is recycled PET plastic. According to American Tourister, the lining is made of 100% recycled PET from household waste. Clean the backpack with a damp cloth and mild soapy water. Then let it dry open and store it in a dry place.
Does a 15.6-inch laptop fit in the Cabinpop Backpack? Yes, the backpack has a separate laptop compartment for laptops up to 15.6 inches.
What colours does the Cabinpop Backpack come in? You can choose from Totally Teal, True Black, Summer Sand, Saturn Sage and Pastel Pink. You will find the same colours in the Cabinpop Toiletry Bag.
