With the Shopper E1 that is a thing of the past. Halfway through the bag there is a zipper that allows you to increase the volume from 12 to 18 liters. Moreover, you can keep out prying eyes by zipping the bag closed. You can safely store your wallet in an extra compartment. The handles are long enough to carry the bag in the hand or over the shoulder.
